NSM provides direct support to Contracting Officers (CO) by developing and maintaining a database for use in VR&E tracking and entering all funding actions performed by the COs into the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS). We are responsible for maintaining a complete and updated contract file, as well as assisting the CO in writing and re-constructing contract files including technical language and funding appropriations. We also track and maintain contractual specific data for input into the Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT) report.
